On 29 January 2026 I stopped in Chug's Hideout and opened the mining Hall of Fame. There was Totoian Toto Eleodor at number 11, beside 819 PED of Crude Oil. A perfectly good reason to interrupt whatever ordinary business had brought me indoors and save a picture.
The board timestamps the event at 03:53:50. This screenshot preserves the view afterwards, rather than the exact moment of the find. I cannot reconstruct the whole route from it, but I can recognise the pleasure of seeing my name among the other miners. Oil had provided something more interesting than another stack in storage.
An achievement between errands
I like how unceremonious the setting is. There is an auctioneer behind me and Chug's Hideout written on the wall. My companion Eudoracell appears in the pet panel at level 6. Entropia does not always require a sweeping landscape for a memorable scene; sometimes an indoor pause with a small companion is enough.
The record also carries the society name Dark Matter. Details like that help a screenshot preserve more than equipment and figures. An avatar moves through groups, conversations and everyday encounters as well as missions. Years later, a name beside an achievement can bring back a different part of the same period.
Mining remained the familiar thread through my different chapters. I had begun on Calypso, spent years on Arkadia as Miss Izabel Shift and returned to Toto. The same basic activity kept finding room in whatever I was doing next. Apparently there are only so many ways to persuade me to leave the finder at home.
A place on the board
Number 11 was my position on the displayed list at that moment. The Hall of Fame moves on, as it should; other miners have their own discoveries to celebrate. My screenshot simply gives this particular entry somewhere permanent to live.
There is no detailed technique hidden in the picture, and I would rather keep the memory intact than invent one. What I have is a date, a resource, a result and the scene around them.
That makes a useful stopping point in the story. A familiar name had appeared on the board again. Eudoracell was present, the auctioneer was carrying on with business, and somewhere outside there was more ground I had not yet searched.
