A deserved reward, and the long way home

By Toto 30 August–5 September 2026 Cyrene / Space / Monria / Calypso

Zorra’s prototype rifle, my Refurbished FAP Rank VII and a journey through space: Cyrene progress gave me more than one reason to celebrate.

Cyrene gave me one of my favourite kinds of achievement: a mission ending with something I could actually hold. On 30 August 2026 I completed A Deserved Reward and received the Xent Tech Light Rifle Prototype. The chat records the item arriving, the mission completing and a Rare Items Hall of Fame announcement. My name appears at number 11 on that board.

This was part of my progress with Zorra's mission. The Ambulimax funds had helped keep those sessions going, passing through several activities along the way. By this point those PED had probably travelled more widely than some tourists.

A rifle with another chapter ahead

The prototype is not the end of my plans. I want to turn it into Zorra's HK rifle later. In my mission notes, the next requirement is a Greater Power Crystal to summon Lazidol. That remains something to work towards, rather than an upgrade I have already completed.

I also earned the Refurbished FAP Rank VII during this wider period of Cyrene progress. I remember the requirement as hunting 3,000 Muckjaw and Skreel. Finishing that work brought a particularly strong sense of achievement: equipment earned through a long sequence of sessions, rather than simply something spotted in a shop.

The screenshots here document the rifle and my travels; the FAP milestone comes from my written recollection. I have no separate reward photograph to attach to it, but it belongs beside the other Cyrene goals that made those weeks memorable.

Keeping other players on their feet

Healing is something I would like to do more of. I think of this FAP as offering roughly twenty healing points per second, and I look forward to putting it to fuller use when I can upgrade my laptop. The avatar has new equipment; the machine running him would appreciate joining the celebration.

For now, earning it is a milestone in its own right. Helping another player stay in a hunt gives my skills a different purpose, and it is a part of Entropia I want to keep exploring.

Taking the scenic route onwards

The remaining pictures show me moving again. A flight captured on 2 September has a 245 PED Typonolic Steam entry open beside the spacecraft, dated the previous day. The flight is where I looked at the board, not where I found the deposit.

Then comes Monria and a 248 PED Zinc Stone claim, dated 2 September in EntropiaLife and 3 September on the board. By 5 September I am back among Calypso's pink trees with a 627 PED Narcansium entry and a daily objective at 433 of 625.

A crafting log from 4 September fits between those journeys. Even while travelling, I apparently found time for another amplifier batch. Together these images tell a fuller story than any single result: a rifle, a healing goal achieved, new plans and a miner who still took the long way home.
