Mining

Ten thousand points, and back to the Guild

By Toto 18–19 September 2026 Calypso / Athena Spaceport

Finishing Stage 5 for Crude Oil and Lysterium brought skill rewards, level 38 in my mining progression and new finders to look forward to.

After the travels, hunts and crafting sessions, the latest photographs bring me back to a counter on Calypso. I am facing a Mining Guild Representative. For somebody who started with a finder in 2008, that feels like a perfectly reasonable place to find himself eighteen years later: still discussing rocks, only with more experience.

On 18 September 2026 the Lysterium objective had reached 10,000 points, and the tracked instruction told me to return to the Mining Guild. Crude Oil was close behind at 9,890 of 10,000. One finished, one nearly there. Naturally, I was not going to stop thinking about the second one.

Two counters, one satisfying visit

The next day's picture shows Crude Oil completed too, with the same return instruction. The location is Athena Spaceport, and I am standing in front of the representative. Those photographs preserve the transition from collecting the final points to going back for the next conversation.

My updated recollection fills in what happened beyond the captured screens: I completed Stage 5 for both Crude Oil and Lysterium, collected skill rewards and reached level 38 in my mining progression. The pictures show the objectives; the reward and level milestone are the part I remember afterwards.

That meant being ready to look at further finders. Equipment progression always gives me something new to consider. There is a good chance that, somewhere in Entropia, a tool exists which I have not yet found an excuse to want.

More than the bright moments

Both screenshots show 197 health as well. I cannot use them to date exactly when I reached that figure, but it is another detail of where Toto stood by September. Skills accumulate quietly across all the sessions between the photographs.

The larger Hall of Fame results make excellent stories, yet these completed objectives matter just as much to me. They represent repeated outings, resources found along the way and the decision to keep working on something until it is done.

I still mine for specific materials when a crafter and I can agree on a good deal. Without an order, I mine because I enjoy it. Hunting, occasional Calypso dailies, crafting, exploring and healing all find their way into the schedule too.

This is where the current album pauses, rather than where the story ends. Toto has two finished objectives, more skills and another set of possibilities. The finder may change again. The enthusiasm for taking it outside is doing just fine.
