After the Ambulimax result I bought fifty Terra Amp 1 amplifiers from Alfadur and headed to Arkadia. There is a very predictable pattern here: give a miner a hunting milestone, and before long he will find a way to turn it into more mining.
I worked across the planet, with occasional visits to the Moon and Underground. The variety suited me. I could keep developing the same profession while changing the view, which is a convenient arrangement for someone who enjoys both familiarity and finding out what is over the next patch of ground.
Down in the Underground
The Lidacon Stones discovery came in Arkadia Underground. I remember it as a vast deposit, one of the highlights among the resources from those outings. The board records 1,404 PED on 13 August 2026 at 19:27:08; the picture I saved on 14 August shows the entry at number 6.
The location comes from my recollection of the run. A mission panel visible beside a later board view does not necessarily tell the whole story of where a deposit was found. This one belongs to that Arkadian mining trip, made possible by the earlier hunt and the amplifiers I had bought.
It was satisfying to see one enjoyable activity lead into another. The Ambulimax had its moment, but the funds continued travelling with me, becoming equipment, probes and further sessions rather than remaining only a number in a screenshot.
A smaller celebration on Toulan
On 19 August the scene changes to Toulan. Pale walls, patterned fabrics and a mission character replace the mining landscape. The system chat confirms completion of the Weekly Butt Joint Crafting Mission, with 2.1 PED of Universal Ammo, a Coloring skill gain and a new rank.
It is a much quieter achievement than the Lidacon entry, and I like keeping them together. A completed mission does not need to compete with a Hall of Fame to deserve a little satisfaction. Sometimes the best part is simply seeing the task finished.
I also kept an earlier July Codex picture showing Thugfish at rank 1 and 2.74%. Even after years in Entropia, I can still be almost completely new to something. My avatar has a long history; his to-do list continues behaving as though he arrived yesterday. Fortunately, that leaves plenty of reasons to come back.
